We are moving our #80DaysUntilCamp onto this blog! So you can see all the travel ideas we give you as we count down to the Camp Season! We’ll be retroactively adding the previous dates but we will kick off with Day #47! New Orleans!
We are in New Orleans, Louisiana! The Birthplace of Jazz! Make sure you hit up Preservation Hall for some classic Jazz music and a great time for all ages! For all you sports fans a visit to the Louisiana Superdome would be a great day out, with the Superbowl even held in the Superdome in 2013! If Festivals are more your thing be sure to check out the annual Rock Out at Wednesday at the Square if you’re visiting during Spring time, food and drink sales benefit the Young Leadership council who put on the event! Or try and see Mardi Gras, the Festival the city is most famous for, with bright colours and crazy outfits it’s truly a sight to behold! The curious city also has admirable architecture and personality, you can tour the voodoo potions at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, Tanks at the National WW2 Museum or art in Jackson Square for those interested in the rich history in the city!
